gambling in alaska?

Just wondering, are the casinos open on the Alaskan cruises since they are so close to US territory?

They are open when sailing just like in the Caribbean. They are not open in port of course.

Thanks, now I can look forward to losing my $$$, I was wondering because I read someplace where you can't gamble on the Hawaii cruises because they're too close to land, and thought the same might be true on the inside passage cruise.
