I sailed on the Galaxy out of Baltimore last year so I can't comment on Galveston, but I loved the Galaxy. The ship is beautiful, food is great (loved the gazpacho!), crew is friendly, most of the shows were good (except the comedian). The pool areas are pretty. I have friends who went on the Galaxy for their first cruise and they also loved it. In fact, I'm planning on cruising with them next year and they want to sail the Galaxy again. It doesn't quite measure up to Princess but I would not hesitate to sail with Celebrity again.
