Getting off ship in time?

I am about to book the Dolphin Royal swim through dolphindiscovery.com. I want to book the 10 a.m. time so that I have the rest of the day to spend at the park.

My question is, we cannot get off the ship until 9 a.m. Is it possible to get to Chankanaab Park quick enough? I have to make sure I can make the 10 a.m. time because I cannot get a refund if I do not show up. What do you think?

Thanks for any advice.

You should be fine. A lot of the time you can get off earlier than the posted time. Just grab a cab right at the dock.

Are you sure that you are getting off the ship at 9:00 or is that just the posted docking time? If it is the posted docking time, you may not be getting off until a little later. The first time we made our own air arrangements, we assumed that a 9:00 docking time would leave us plenty of time to get to the airport. Well the ship docked a bit early, but we had to wait our turn to get off behind the prioriity folks. We also neglected to apply for priority debarking -- seems our brains went on vaction, too! So we got off at 9:45 and missed our flight --by only a few minutes--but we missed it. All turned out well, we got seats on the next flight--probably the seat of the folks who got ours on the earlier flight. But do check with the cruise line to see if that is docking time versus when you, personally, get off time.
