Glass bottom vs Submersible

Hello fellow cruisers,

My husband and I are travelling with another couple on the Conquest in 2 weeks. We would enjoy seeing some of the tropical fish and coral reefs. The ports of call are Montego Bay, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. We have seen several different excursions for viewing the sea life via glass bottom boat or semisubmersible. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the best excursion would be?

Thanks,

Sharon

We just booked on line the SeaMobiles on Grand Cayman. They are two person mini subs that can go down to 60 feet, They are a dome or bubble and you can see alot, not just a little port hole. It is a little pricey but what the heck we are on vacation right!! Here is the link : http://www.caymansubmariners.com/index.htm

We are booked to take the semi-submersible out of Cozumel on 1-19-04. We booked through RCCL. I have seen photos of the ship (boat ?) and it looks great. The price is only $45.00 audlts, $35.00 children. The trip takes two hours.
