Having worked in the hospitality industry for many years let me ASSURE you that the staff do not care WHAT you wear as long as you are not a complaining pain in the butt and you tip well. I'm not kidding. If you have a similar employment history then you know exactly what I mean!I loved working with the public and it probaly has shaded how I look at people , I know that you shouldn't judge people by how they look because sometimes the nice looking ones were mean and disrespectful to staff ( staff are people too) and the ones who looked like "country bumkins" were far better mannered and often tipped better. I worked a very upscale resort for 5 years and then at a private yacht club and although these things are just my opinion I think they will ring true for many who have worked in any public sector.Post Edited (08-09-03 23:48)
