Anyone here on this list on this sailing?

Was much dissapointed to see that one of the excursions I, and my wife, wanted to do was totally sold out. The dolphin experience in Antigua, I did wait-list but really have no hope to get on it. I tried to schedule directly with them but they close it down for that day for the cruise passengers.

They have a park on Anguilla, whcih is 5 miles away from St Martin, thinking of doing it there but it looks like it's quite a travel intensive trip to get over there and back. Anyone else have that idea?

Can't wait for this trip, first cruise.......staying in San Juan for three days prior, my wife is PR so we wanted to stay for a few days to meet with family and get adjusted. Coming from San Diego. Have a balcony on the Caribe deck towards the front.

We are also on the June 13 Golden Princess!!

We will be arriving in San Juan on Saturday, June 12 and staying at the Hotel Miramar. Do you know anything about this hotel? It had three stars so we are praying that it is clean and nice!!

Can you tell me some nice places to see and eat dinner at that evening in downtown Old San Juan?

We also looked into the dolphin shore excursion and saw that it was booked! Have you contacted the cruise lines? Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you.

There are several new places to eat in Old San Juan most of which are highlighting nuevo Latino cuisine. Do a google search and find out the very latest.
We lived there for a while and since we prefer plain old 'criollo' cooking always had luch at Siglo XX at the bottom of calle Fortaleza. But you are probably looking for a dining out evening.
You can always get a taxi to the Condado area where everyone is raving about Ajíli Mójili on Ashford.

St Martin is one of the best islands to see. I don't know if I would miss this island if I had a choice.

Hi! We are on this cruise too - myself, husband, 21 y/o daughter & 18 y/o son. Can't wait! We booked 1 trip thru the ship and 2 thru shoretrips.com, although right now only 1 of those is confirmed. We are going down 1 day early, staying at Wyndham Condado Plaza.

Chris-

I think you can book a dolphin tour without using the cruise. Go to shoretrips.com, and I remember them posting swim with the dolphins in one of the islands you will stop in. I dont know for certain, but I imagine any local tourist center would offer a similiar tour, because they have tourists staying on the islands as well. The trick is to finding it when you get off the ship.
