We're sailing the e. carib. on the Golden Princess over Thanksgiivng with our 17 year old daughter and 15 year old son.
Would like to know the best beaches in St. Martin/St.Thomas for water sports - parasailing, waverunners, snorkeling, etc.
Also, best to take taxis or excursions offered through the cruise line for beach fun!
Thanks!

We are also onboard Golden's Nov 22 East Caribbean cruise. I was onboard this cruise earlier this year. I definitely recommend taking taxis to/from the ship to beaches of choice. I recommend Orient beach in St Marten for best beach, water, and water sports. Don't worry about the nudity thing; not really an issue. The water and beach are excellent there with plenty of water sports: waverunners, sailboats, ect..... In St Thomas, I recommend either Magens Beach or Coki beach. You can take a cab very easily to each of the beaches on both islands. Another favorite spot in St Martin is a place called " Everything's Cool" located pretty much right downtown. Great views of the ships in port, with some water activities and nice sandy beach. Only a month away now!!

We are also going on the 11/22 cruise. Have been to both ports before. In St. Thomas we take the shuttle to Trunk Bay on St. John's, which is one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world - but don't take the excursion, not enough time! In St. Maarten, I would NOT recommend Orient Beach, been there and the "nudies" walk up and down the beach on the non-nude side. Unless, that is your thing - then go for it.

4 weeks away! We love princess, this is our 5th Princess cruise!
