Who is going on this beast of a cruise? Who knows about the mini suites on the Dolphin Deck? What about the restaurants where you pay extra for the meal? How is the weather in Rome as we are going a few days early?

Chuck and I are going on this and the one prior with a week in Naples between them while the ship is in drydock. Minis are nice. We truly prefer the regular dining room over the specialty or personal choice dining. We like that the serve staff gets to know your preferences thereby making it more intimate in spite of being in the middle of the milleau. Weather will be mid 60s during the day, generally 50's at night. chance of fog and other moisture but unless a weird front comes through, very pleasant.

Well, I was on the cruise and it was an absolutely wonderful SMOOTH trip across the "big pond". There were only two day when a few people commented about the waves, but I can honestly say, the two of us didn't feel them. Temperatures in the mid 80s for two days right in the middle of the six days coming across and low to mid 60s most of the rest of the days. The ports were so impressive, the Golden Staff terrific, and the food out of this world. As long as you keep doing the steps, walking and NO Elevators, go ahead and enjoy yourself eating and drinking. We had a great roll call for the CC board and had our picture taken after the 35+ members had our get-together. Hope everyone is having a wonderful Holiday and Happy New Year to you all.
