Go to lifeiscruising.com and read his review about the Golden Princess. He had heard probably the same things you are hearing and was pleasantly surprised. I had taken a cruise on Princess (Sun) around 1997 and we were very impressed. Then I started reading these forums and was beginning to worry. I think some people look for the bad.
