Can anyone tell me how large the balconies are on the Aloha deck of the Golden Princess. My wife and I are going on Feb. 15th and I am curious if there will be any lounge chairs on our blacony? I know they are not as big as the mini-suites on the Dolphin Deck.

The balconies are approx. 4' x 10', maybe a little smaller. 2 chairs & a table usually are on them. The ones on the caribe deck were bigger, almost square, and partially covered and these had reclining chairs w/pullout footrests.

Hi. We just booked the Star Princess last week and will be going Feb. 8th.
We were told that the majority of the balconies, i.e., Aloha Deck are 9x5
and that the Caribe balconies are 9x10 feet.

Those were the dimensions given by the Princess people because I specifically asked
about it.

I called Princess several times and so did my travel agent and after a few hours of sifting through the information and receiving the responses above, the balconies are as follows:
Aloha and Baja decks are 9' x 5'3" with one lounge chair, one regular chair and one small table
Caribe deck is 9' x 9' 10" with two lounge chairs, two regular chairs and 1 small table
The rooms on the Aloha and Baja decks average 214 sq. ft. The rooms on the Caribe deck average 257 sq. ft.

Hopefully some helpful information for those that would like to use their balcony to lay out in the sun instead of the pool decks.

We'll also be on the 2/15 Golden Princess on the Aloha deck. The balconies may be smaller but at least we will not have people staring down at us which I heard was a problem for those on the lower balconies...

My 2 cents... I dont so much mind that people could see down onto my balcony but I dont want their ashes in my hair. We booked a cat AD, but we had 2 kids along and this is a minisuite. If it were just us 2... hard choice. Privacy or more room? Guess it would come down to cost for me. Regardless, enjoy your cruise!

The sq. footage, is that the actual size of the cabin or is that the cabin plus the balcony? I was told that it was with the balcony added.

We just changed cabins on an upgrade and were put in B302 on the Star Princess. It is a handicapped cabin and we were able to get it because we sail in one week and it was not booked. They told us it was 368 sq. ft. which included a 13 X 9 balcony. I thought that was pretty good. That is on the Baja deck - does anyone know anything about this deck, the balcony and if we will be having folks flicking ashes on our heads?

:dance thanks for any information you can share

On the Star, the Baja balconies are 100% covered. So you have a huge, private balcony! Wooohooo! :dance
