We're booked on the Golden Princess from Venice to Barcelona, sailing on July 28th. I called Princess today to see if they were planning to drop the two stopovers in Turkey. They said they have a contingency plan to substitute stops in the Greek Isles for Turkey, but thus far they have no definite plans to do this. This also is the case on the early May sailings of the same itinerary.
I was also told that the booking occupancy on the July 28 cruise is about 50%. I suppose this gives the term "run-of-the-ship" new meaning. A smaller crowd will be fine with us.
