Unfortunately, if you want to do the Southern Caribbean, I don't think there is anyway to avoid San Juan. Many people have heard bad things about the experiences at the San Juan airport. I think that is the major cause of anxiety.We are going on the Golden 5/904, which I believe is the first sailing for the Golden for the particular itinerary (San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Grenada, Aruba and Caracas (probably a substituted port due to political unrest and Venezuela's President being extremely ticked at the Bush administration right now).
