Good Cold Thursday Morning

Well I slept late and now have to rush. It is cold here this morning only about 31 degrees brrrrrrrrr.

I wonder if our bodies are mixed up over this not changing the clocks back and it being so dark in the morning. I ask that because I'm usually up with the birds and the last couple of weeks with the pitch darkness I'm having a terrible time waking up in the morning. Are you having trouble getting going on these dark mornings? I guess I will find out since this weekend is time change.

I finally ate last night so will make my way into work. Crossing fingers I'm over the bug. They get cranky at work when you call out so I'm sure my boss will be a bear.

Did you get many kids last night Trick or Treating? It was very cold here and Mike and I decided not even to put on the outside light. But I kinda watched and didn't see one little one. About 8:15 we did see and hear some older kids out and about probably getting into mischief.

Audra took the kids out for a little while. Not long she said because they have had colds. Then we talked about Christmas and my work schedule and how I might not be able to be there for Christmas. She was upset. It does stink that they Black out 2 weeks at Christmas for those of us who live away from family. I did get some ideas about what the kids might want though.

Good morning all..

I am running slow here today too. Ended up staying up very late last night, so now I'm running slow.

All those leaves we did yesterday....and then the rain last night, looks like we didn't even touch them. But soon they will all be down.

I made some progress yesterday on setting up our shore excursions for our cruise in a few weeks. Some that are in the group have never gone on a cruise before, so I set them up with some really good tours.

Going to try to get some more pre-cruise stuff done today.

Judy, I hope something works out that you can be with the kids on Christmas. (and enjoy that shopping for the kids!)

Morning,it is cold only 24 degrees here,but I am one of the wierd ones and like the cooler temperatures.

We only had about 10 Trick or Treaters,we live in a quiet cul-de-sac off a major road to the airport so not many come thru our neighborhood,John piled about 15 pieces on each kid,I kept the 2 dogs at bay!

Sure hope you get home to see your beautiful grandkids Judy,you are the best grandma and they love you so.

I am back at work and still have a stopped up head cold - just can't miss too many days in a row! lol I can't take anything for it at work either - makes me too sleepy. Oh well, I am sure there are plenty worse off than me moving this am!

Good morning -- please send the cold to NY. It's unseasonably warm here, and I'm getting frustrated.

Only thing I have planned, my favorite day -- cleaning lady is on her way. I'm a lazy housekeeper.

Good morning. It is a lot warmer here today than it was yesterday. So far the colds have stayed away from Alf & I, but it is just about time for Alf's yearly allergies to kick in! We are getting our flu shots next week.
We had a good pot luck dinner at the Clubhouse last night. Great food and some neat costumes.
Hope you all survive another day at the office with your colds.

Good Morning - cooler here today high only in the 60's... Didn't see too many kids in the ER last night so that was good. Son said we had about 25 here last night. Would have liked to have been here but had to work. Hope everyone has a great day.
