Hi guys. Some weekend. I couldn't stay warm for anything! Headache etc. I had a dr checkup this morning for my asthma/diabetes etc. So of course, my frugal body decided since I had to drive the 45 minutes anyway, I should make it worthwhile, so I woke up with a fever, sinus infection etc, the whole thing. The dr walked into the office and said, "Didn't I just cure you of this?" and I told him yes, but it was back!

Since I was up in the north country anyway, I took a tour through Busch Wildlife, but there was none. Nothing. I saw 3 crows, but they didn't hold still long enough to photograph. Wasted afternoon, gas etc. I had to wait for the RX in the drive thru, so I just went down to the river and sat and watched birds down there. Got a few good ones I will post later.

Last night as I was getting ready to go to bed, Just before I turned off all the computers etc, I heard Scooter hocking up a hairball. He is very democratic, he doesn't just stay in one place, he spreads it around. I yelled at him to stay in the kitchen on the floor where it was easier to clean up. I forgot, you don't yell at Scooter, it scares him, so he went to the corner and peed.

Now, I have several messes to clean up. I went to the kichen and opened the cabinet and got out cleaner and paper towels. After the mess was clean, I heard rattling and bumping in the cabinets. And Simon was missing. Maxie went over to investigate. Maxie is a very intelligent cat, and he has figured out how to open the cabinet doors. He of course thought this was a big mouse, so he stood and watched the doors, (the cabinets all connect and Simon was going back and forth trying to get out.) He finally figured out where the noise was coming from.

I figured he would open the door and the kitten would run out. No, not this time. Maxie opened the door and found out it was the kitten and not a mouse, so he shut the door in his face and left him in there. So I had to rescue the kitten. While I did that, Maxie with his nose out of joint since I let Simon out, went over to the Roomba and sat on it, turning it on. So I had to chase that, too. I gave up in disgust and went to bed, forgetting to put away the paper towels.

Simon loves paper towels, they shred nicely, which is what he did all over the kitchen floor. I had to clean that up in the morning, too. All of this with a fever. I tell you, it is a 3 ring circus around here! Fun, tho.

Oh My too funny it is like having 3 four year old kids in the house. =lolgang Feel better Connie!

Tonight Mike went wild on the US Toys site. Kaya loves pirates so one of his gifts is a pirate costume. He grew out of his old one. So of course he needed a pirate chest.

We found this big chest about the size of a clothes basket but taller. So then Mike went wild. We bought play paper money, old Chinese coins, beads, baubles of all colors, rings with these big huge faux stones in all colors, coin shaped beads in several colors, and a bunch of other small toys to put in there. The kids will go wild for the pirate treasure. I will put a couple of boxes of different heights in the bottom and get some remnant fabric to make a nice presentation so that it looks authentic. I have a bunch of foreign coins I will also throw in a box when I send it to Boston. Now if I can keep Kaya from putting his brother or sister in the chest. :lol little fussbudgit. I made sure the chest did not lock in any way!

Mike had a real ball picking out all the trinkets and treasures. Oh yeah 12 blow up pirate swords too. I just told Audra. She said I'm going to kill you both do you know what a mess they can make with that? YUP! he he he Too late it will be there in 4 days I told her.

Mike when he met Kiarra certainly found a soft spot in his heart. He isn't really a kidlet person but that little one is just so adorable she adopted him. So he found a pink cowgirl hat with a tiara in rhinestones that says princess on it and he just had to buy it. :lol He did exceptionally well with all the kids but Kiarra made sure that it was all about her as far as he went! :girly

We just narrowed down the things I still need to order and what she needs to get. We are so close with the 4 kidlets. The rest of the family arrrgggggggg. Need to start them too. I still have to get birthday gift for Mike and then Christmas before I leave. I return on Christmas day and we will open our gifts when I return. So I have to be ready.

That's it on this end.

Was 77 degrees here. By Wendesday we will drop over 50 degrees. Yikes.........3 inches of snow too. Double Yikes........

Oh God what did I just say. Mike just bought the little princess her first pair of cowgirl boots. Pink brand new he found on Ebay, to match her new cowgirl hat. I told you he spoils her as much as me. Well almost! :grin She is a real shoe freak so now she had 4 new pair of shoes for Christmas! :lol Not counting her princess slippers!

Wow, you have been busy! I am glad Mike is so taken with the kids, especially Kiarra. She is a little beauty.

I forgot to add, after dinner, Simon got into some potato chips I had left on my plate and carried them into the living room to eat. To eat most of that is, there were a lot of crumbs!

Connie - I'm so sorry you're not feeling well, but I have to admit, I was =lolgang=lolgang at the description of your day. The Three Mouseketeers certainly ganged up on you. I needed the laugh - it's been a rough time at work today.
