Whoaaaah where did the weekend go? I feel like I spun like a top all weekend!

Very cold morning with temps in the teens. More snow due tonight with a mess due in the morning for the commute. YUCK. This can stop at any time now. :lol :lol Somewhere around 1 to 4 inches by morning. Audra said her area had heavy ice last night and they were expecting more this morning.

Busy week ahead with medical appointments and trying to get Mike's shopping finished before I leave for Boston.

Only 15 days left until Christmas now. So ready set charge everyone!

It was a bad day in CO yesterday with the shootings at two places of worship. They are trying to determine if they are connected. Very sad time with another person from the second shooting dying overnight.
Sometimes the world is a scary place.

Well everyone have a good day. And those of you in the ice bands going accross the Country be careful and stay safe!

Ahoy there afters. Judy, it was heartbreaking about these shooting...what is the world coming too..hard to hear about after the shootings in Omaha right before :(

Our weather is much the same as Leslie's....much better then the ice and snow many of you are experiencing. Ya'll stay safe.

Not much else happening in my life....called Lori this morning to place my final payment for The Great Escape...nothing like waiting till the last minute...so unlike me. I forgot! Ya'll have a good day.

:wave I am 3-11PM these next 2 days.. and my Director of Nursing =love me for it..2 more 3-11 nurses put in notice..:worried..=shrug.. the revolving door of nurses syndrome lives on..sigh.. we get 4 and 2 leave.. it is the same ALL OVER for nurses..we hire 3; get them oriented to the job..and then 2 of the nurses leave.. (the pay is excellent but WHOA Baby we earn it..their exit interview common statement IS " the work is too HARD" .. common thought is that rest and rehab nurses have it cushy!!..=eek after a month they are spinning!!..)

little does she know it when I set up my schedule for this week..:grin.. since Mark bowls tonight, and tomorrow day I hammer on the last little things..and with Wed off. it was the schedule I WANTED!!..:grin..

and she was grateful!!..

so I did some more wrapping, have house errands to ram on, and then get some more cards done!!.. it is snowing, and it's pretty and since I am plopped here till 2PM, it's fine, the plows will all be set for the busses about the time I whip out the door!!..:thumb.. later gang as it works..

and my heart sure goes out to the kin of those shootings..just heartbreaking..:(..

Drive safe all...:)..Joanne

Good Morning Everyone!

Another work week and another day closer to Christmas. Jim leaves tomorrow for his visit with the kids and grand kids. Know he will enjoy the warm weather and playing golf with the boys.

Nothing much new here - same ole.

I don't understand those shootings either - if they want to kill themselves have at it - but leave everyone else alone.

Hope you all have a great day! Enjoy and be careful.

Good morning! Had a nice weekend - our first Christmas celebration with family. We are expecting the yucky weather starting this evening. Supposedly ice followed by snow. Sounds lovely! I keep telling DH that it doesn't do this in Hawaii, but he doesn't seem to get the message!

The shootings really hit home. My sister lives in Omaha and works across the street from Westroads Mall. She was quite shaken up over the whole thing. Someone from my church lost a cousin in the shootings. A little too close to home for me!

Take care all!
