Well Saturday finally came and after the work week I decided to sleep in. It is 8:17 mountain time. I never sleep this late. The weather is already 46 degrees but we have high winds. Most mountains will get 2 feet of snow or more over the next day. They say snow here tomorrow but no idea how much they don't know.

That tree has to come down today. I've enjoyed it but it is time. Other than that it is the usual cleaning and laundry here.

Enjoy your weekend whatever you do. And I hope all those in CA are faring well.

Good morning! Ben and I have already been to the grocery store this morning. I'm having lunch out with some friends, and that is about it for this day!

Good morning...

I am trying to give the dog a haircut today, but he doesn't want to cooperate, so we will do it in stages....may take all day :(

DH went up north to do some snowmobiling, so I think DD and I will go out for dinner somewhere. I have a gift card to my favorite restaurant we may use.

Got the electric and the gas bill today...YIKES! I'm really thinking of moving south....somewhere warm :)

Have a good weekend all...

Reggae Killian is the same way. It sometimes takes me all weekend to get him clipped! :lol I am constantly cutting a little here and a little there to prevent the fight. Have fun!

When Alf & I used to cut our dog's hair, we just cut what we could catch. She was a Maltese. And loved to run in the freshly cut grass and ended up with green legs and belly. She was a hoot!

:wave woke up at 8AM..:(..did not want to, but feet, and hands telling me I had done 39 hours in 3 days, and refused to keep quiet, so rolled out of bed, hit up 3 cuppas; and my trusty Advil bottle...:lol....and =shrug got paid yesterday , so paid bills..yahoo..the only thing that made my week.. Aruba is paid in full..my bill money for the whole 2 weeks while we are gone, snow removal, house sitter;car rental, spending cash, flights, the whole blasted shebang!!:dance..

.. and we are building up our Colorado vacation fund , and Emerald Princess trip funds nicely also.. and DS Stephen tuition paid in full for graduation in May!! ; and his Graduation Caribbean vacation trip as his sisters also got one too..
Every other Friday when it's payday I am so glad I did those mean hours..:grin..opposite Friday is lock in hours logged..ALL Fridays are good..:thumb..

Reggae I feel your pain via Vermont.. we locked in at $2.39 a gallon for fuel for our furnace, and DARN GLAD to do it.. and our slush fund for oil is a year ahead..sigh it's been nasty for snow, and cold for 3 weeks now.. 3 feet of snow and temps at or below zero for the last 4 days...today is in low 30's tomorrow supposed to hit low 40's.. go figure...

One of Mark's employees oil was up to $3.08 a gallon last month.... and now $3.49 as they had not locked in.. and they are in a world of hurt, they had gambled it would drop..=eek.. well it has not, and they *know* now they are stuck till June..:(..it's cash and carry, and whoooee they won't do it again they plan on making a contract this June for next year!!....

so they are NUTS for the way it's hitting.., and I am so glad we are way,way too cautious to gamble.:worried, I refuse to deal with the uncertainty of what it *might* get to...Holey Moley!!not worth me getting an ulcer too!!I like to sleep at night!!

.. gas is $3.16 a gallon, and we have to tank up our 2 rigs.. I realize it's not local gas station making bucks.. but OY..

I have GOT to vacuum, and take our "real tree" down, do trash, and recycling, and the bottles return.. and oh yeah hit up groceries as the cupboards are barren again!!.. then do my "bridge shift" 7PM -11PM, come home and sleep in for tomorrow!!the simple things in life are good..

well time to get in gear..hope it's a good day all.!!.

I do clearly remember when Scooter would only let me brush him in shifts.. no wrassling with 135# of cranky puppy unless Mark helped sit on him..and even then we had a 50-50 on *how long* he would last!!.:grin he *won* more rounds then we did for sure!!so good luck to all of you wrassing your puppers too!!

.. enjoy!!..sigh.. I miss my baby..:(.. oh well life is...take care all..:daisy...Joanne

Putting up the Christmas Tree is so much more joyous than taking it down. It is alot of work and sad. But I just kept reminding myself of my crazy zany sleep deprived and outrageous Christmas and laughed. So that job is now done!

The winds stopped around 1pm the sun came out and I have windows open. It is 61 degrees here and everything is just about melted. That is until tomorrow!

I think I hear a nap calling my name. :grin
