I have nothing but good news. The surgery went well. Took a little longer as the gallbladder was enlarged but that is what they were hoping as it explained a lot. The biliruben was 25 on Thursday and 15 on Saturday and today it was 8. Dad says his eyes look so much better. He returned to his room this afternoon and it is everyones hope that he is released to Kohl’s house by Friday. We were told to expect him to probably stay there until the end of February. That was a bit disappointing as we were hoping for a quick discharge but it is for his safety for a long life. So with the help of Diana and Bob and perhaps other family members, we will get through these next two months and still conduct life. We need to get Dan back to work sooner than later. With all your help, we have hung on and met the bills but with the new year comes new medical bills and deductibles and co pays and we will really need to work on building our bank account. We also have to pay for parking and the use of the Kohl house along with our regular bills and then there will be the MEDICINE. I cannot even begin to know how much he will be on but once discharged, it will more than likely be our expense. We will survive however because that is at my family does. And I am so proud to be a member of it. So once again, I thank you all for any little or big amount you have or can contribute to the survival of this family. And thank you all for the love, prayers, favors, concern…well, you get it. And I cannot say it enough…THANK YOU DONOR
