We want to Thank All The Folks Who have recently sent in some

good reviews On the Glory. Thanks!

Sometimes it seems the people writing negative things

sail three or four times a year.... (lucky them.)

We take one cruise a year, and to quote an old salty dog,

"I'd rather fish all day an not catch nothin' than spend a day at work!"

It seems some people think that if everything is not "perfect", their

day is ruined...or want to tell others about it. (Wah-wah...)

Every Cruise you take on this ship (Eastern ) goes about

2,200 Miles at Sea. That experience in itself is awesome to just think

about. You are on a "City" in the middle of the Ocean. Computers

connected to satellites steer the ship to stay on course. It just makes

you humble that a ship can turn sea water into drinking water for

4,000 people plus daily. Feed them all 5 or six times a day...

{don't forget room service...}, Entertain them, tuck them into bed

and whose main goal is to make people happy and have a wonderful

vacation at Sea.

I hope everyone who writes many negative things, and in some cases

"scares" new cruisers, just goes out and rents an RV next year, and pull up

next to the Smith's From Newberry for their week in the Sun... and Fun!

Hope they don't burn the burgers....Don't forget the Old Milwaulkee!

Again, Our Thanks to all that write in about their Great Experiences.

One Mans Trash Is Another Mans Treasure...It's all about viewpoint.

My Wife once dropped a Quarter into a Slot machine at the Atlantis

resort, and the quarter fell right back into the pan... She did not know

she was sitting at the $25 slots, and a very nice lady next to her

(who played just one machine about 6 to 7 hours a day) looked

over at my wife and said: "It's All Relative..."

We Salute You! All Those who had a great time, please take some time

and post your great experiences! A Cheeseburger On Orient Beach

is heaven on earth... it is ALL relative...

Hugs to all,

I'm one of those people that take at least 2-3 cruises a year...and I have a great time on every one of them...no matter what ship I'm sailing on!

What a wonderful thing to be able to take some clothes and a few bucks, check in and live in a different world for a few days!

How wonderful is it to meet people from all over the world and have fun with them and enjoy running into them on the ship or on an island?

Where else can you go and join in games and make a fool out of yourself and having a great time doing it....and no one thinking any less of you for doing it???

It's wonderful to be able to lay in bed and have breakfast brought to you or join others for breakfast.

It's great to be able to just relax and have a wonderful time just doing everything or doing nothing and leaving everything up to someone else.

There will always be people who complain...but those people are always complaining about something no matter where they are! They have to live in their misery...we don't have to join them!

I say...CRUISE, enjoy, have fun...look for the sunshine and enjoy the mystery of some clouds now and again. It's a long road that doesn't have a bend in it!

Bon Voyage! Happy Sailing and remember...we're only going around once....get the most out of it and enjoy it for what it is.

When you see someone scowling...just give them a smile and maybe they'll get the message and smile too!

I am actually one of those people that take one cruise a year and I was on the Glory in Sept. and wrote not such a great review. I am not a picky person that needs people to cater to me. I have had conversations with the corporate office for Carnival and was told that they have received more complaints on the Glory than any other ship in their fleet. They welcome the complaints in order to make the improvements and it seems they are doing just that. I am sooooooo glad for the future Glory cruisers because I would not have wanted anyone to have the experience we had. I love Carnival and have sailed them several times and will sail them again.

Glad to hear thing are good!!

Dear Cruise Girl,

I thank you for our input...

We live in Tampa, and have the Seminole Casino here.

The Casino boasts the best ventilation systems around,

in going there, it is foggy as the boggs of England with

smoke...and after 2 hours we reek with smoke.... clothes etc.

One thing I think Carnival is doing with the Glory is, Not telling

the people booking that the ship can hold 3,500 or 3,600 passengers....

That is an incredible number of people.

The site lists 2,974 passengers, but that is just for "lower" berths,

considered "doubles" and not for "upper" berths".

I think that if you have a ship that carries 2,200 passengers "MAX",

and then go on a ship that has 33% more people, that means

you have 33% MORE smokers, 33% less public areas, and perhaps

33% more profit for the cruise lines... CA Ching!!!

We are great supporters of Carnival, RCCL, Princess, etc.

IF you can't breath at the Casino, let Carnival know... let the Media

know, write editorials to your paper...Call CNN, Dateline... etc.

We just think with 33% more people on board, it may get a little

crazy, and plan to hit the Casino at 1 am to avoid the "CROWDS",

and have a great time...the card dealers are friendly and tired then...

Perhaps they can turn the air in the Casino several times an hour,

like they do in Vegas.

We could also just open all the doors and blow the smoke out!!!

Whooosh! Just like your $$$$ at the casino! Think about it...

See Ya,

Take care,

I don't think any ship or any casino or any enclosed area that permits people to smoke should be without an air purifier.

I smoke a little and I have an Ionic Breeze from Sharper Image...and I have it on in the house. I only smoke in ONE room of my house and that is my office...but ANYONE that comes into my house would NEVER know there's a smoker in the house.

The Miccossuki Gaming Casino in Miami has a marvelous venilation system...they even have a resturant in the MIDDLE of the casino and there's no smoke odor in that whole casino.

If they can do it...so can other businesses.
