Dear Cruise Girl,
I thank you for our input...
We live in Tampa, and have the Seminole Casino here.
The Casino boasts the best ventilation systems around,
in going there, it is foggy as the boggs of England with
smoke...and after 2 hours we reek with smoke.... clothes etc.
One thing I think Carnival is doing with the Glory is, Not telling
the people booking that the ship can hold 3,500 or 3,600 passengers....
That is an incredible number of people.
The site lists 2,974 passengers, but that is just for "lower" berths,
considered "doubles" and not for "upper" berths".
I think that if you have a ship that carries 2,200 passengers "MAX",
and then go on a ship that has 33% more people, that means
you have 33% MORE smokers, 33% less public areas, and perhaps
33% more profit for the cruise lines... CA Ching!!!
We are great supporters of Carnival, RCCL, Princess, etc.
IF you can't breath at the Casino, let Carnival know... let the Media
know, write editorials to your paper...Call CNN, Dateline... etc.
We just think with 33% more people on board, it may get a little
crazy, and plan to hit the Casino at 1 am to avoid the "CROWDS",
and have a great time...the card dealers are friendly and tired then...
Perhaps they can turn the air in the Casino several times an hour,
like they do in Vegas.
We could also just open all the doors and blow the smoke out!!!
Whooosh! Just like your $$$$ at the casino! Think about it...
See Ya,
Take care,
