Wake up and wipe those sleepies away because it is Saturday and you don't have to do anything you don't want to. Well that is except catch up on your housework, laundry, errands, grocery shop...... he he he

I actually have decided to go into work for at least half a day. We are swamped. People out on vacation last week, a software upgrade that took us out of business for 2 days and then slow process time the rest of the week, above average new business, and I had to develop a new tacking system in one of my functions because of problems company wide in getting some processing completed. So while I am already wooooooooped this week I have worked OT every day, it is either go in or let things snowball further and I don't want to face that on Monday. Saturdays are a good day to just go in without interruptions and get things done.

After work I will meet Mike and we will get some errands run. Grocery shopping is on the top of the list. Then home and get the clean up done, the laundry and ironing. I have some pots still to clean up and put away for the winter and with snow coming tomorrow I suppose I have to do it today. I hate seeing my flowers go for the winter.

Red Sox on the Agenda tonight, Go Sox. Would love to have them play against the Rockies in the World Series.

So everyone have a great day while you enjoy your weekend freedoms, toil over those weekend "to do lists" and hug someone you love.

Good Moanin' !!!

Almost to the end of my shift. Only 2 more hours to go. Whoo-Hooo. Very slow night (not that I'm complaining). I came on duty at 11:00p and the ED was empty. The Charge Nurse said they hadn't had a patient since 7:30p! We finally got one in around 4:00a. Then another at 8:15a! Managed to get 4 on-line courses knocked out through FEMA.

Can't root for the Sox. I'm still holding out hope for the Tigers! Come on boys, it's never too late!!!!!!

Get home. Get about 6 hours sleep, then taking SunFlower to the movies. Back in for my next shift (again) at 11:00p tonight.

Wishing for a great day for all the Afters!

Good Morning Afters,

It's going to be a beautiful day with the sun shining and temps in the 70's.

I've been up since 6 AM, and have most of my chores done. Going to run a few errands before the grandkids arrive this afternoon.

Morning all just hanging out at computer hoping Paw wil take it easier today (this is time of year he can think of so many chores that need done. He just keeps mumbling abt hoping leaves get down soon so he can get to gathering them up. He thinks he can do it all by himself this year. I think we may have a stack of rocks out by front drive (like hobos used to put to mark a house as a good place to ask for work or food.) We have had several young men stop and ask if we need any help with yard chores, cleaning gutters etc. He usually has plenty he can find fr them to do. Now that they are out of school the grandsons all have too much to do to come help do some of these things they have done in past. Have a good week end all-Nascar and Football will be order of day tomorrow.

Good morning - just back from DD soccer game. This week was silent Saturday, which meant no adults could say anything, I thought it was terrible - all I wanted to do was tell them they were doing well!

Laundry, grocery and errands this afternoon. DH school is having an Autumnfest later this afternoon, and then I think we are going to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. Tomorrow is church, then the rest of the day at Busch Gardens (we have season passes).

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Good afternoon, everyone. Cool day here. I sat on the porch for a while but got cold and came in.

Planning on a long nap, didn't get much sleep last night and had to get up early this morning.

I have a an old high school friend visiting in town from Seattle. We, and another friend are meeting for dinner. I haven't seen either for about a year, so this will be fun. We can catch up, and, sad as it seems, I look for people to who have not seen them to share Simon's photos with!
