Not me...but these guys are getting out of town!

Yes, I saw them gathering, and overheard some of their comments:

"How long will it take to get to Florida, and how long are the layovers?"

"How many pairs of shoes are you taking"

"I can't wait to get out of this coooold weather"

"Does anyone know how many formal nights on this trip?"

and the last comment I heard......"Can we wear jeans in the dining nest?"

They are definately leaving soon.....those lucky duckies!

:lol :lol Not much around here. Just dealing with college applications.

We did a campus tour of UC Irvine yesterday. DS's main complaint about his #1 choice in college is that there are too many trees. So, we take a look at UCI & there are tons of trees there too. Now he says the Eucalyptus trees are fine at UCI, but the pine trees at his #1 choice of college aren't. Go figure! =dunno :roll

This is a kid, who 2 years ago, loved rain & wanted to live in Washington State. Now, he wants no trees, a barren, desert-like college campus with very little trees. :roll Teens! :mad

Bobbie, will your son be living on campus? In the dorms?

I'm sure after he's there a while and makes some friends, he won't care so much about the trees.

Let me know if he will be living in the dorms, because I might have some helpful hints for you. And I'm sure others on here will as well..

Morning from rainy cool Boston. Whitecaps on the ocean and wind howling at the windows. Just made a batch of gingerbread waffles so dd will have something to eat before she heads off to work.

Making that pot of soup today - never got to make it yesterday.

Reggae - Love the pic!

Bobbie - Good luck with the college search.

Ahoy Afters. Love the pic Reggae...we get a lot of those fellows wintering here in the Metro DC area...they LOVE the Reflecting Pond and the Lady Byrd Johnson Park, LOL.

Not much happening here. Autumn is back and I am loving the cooler weather. We still need rain though...nary a drop has fallen lately.

Hope you all have a good day.
