Good Tuesday Morning Afters

It is supposed to be a nice mild day today but not as much sun because the haze from the CA fires is over us. Amazing how the haze can travel so far with the weather.

I have a long day at work, a mandatory meeting after work. I still have low energy but have to go in our month closes tomorrow.

The Time change is this weekend maybe it will help with giving us more light in the morning. These dark mornings sure make it tough to drag the butt out of bed in the morning.

I'm thinking about Bostongal she has her surgery today. I sure wish they could get her feeling better.

Everyone have a good day. I'm lost without the baseball at night. :lol Big celebration in Boston today to welcome the World Series Winners home.

Ahoy Afters and Judy. We have a frosty cold morning here but will warm up to the high 60s later today.

Not a lot new here....a quiet night on the homefront last night.

Thoughts and prayers are with Meg today as she has her surgery...get well soon girl and prayers to all who are in need.

Good Morning Everyone!

Sure cold here in Northern Ohio this am. Only supposed to hit the low 60's. We are headed for cooler weather from here on I am afraid.

Jim and I managed to hang all the stuff back on the walls in the family room last night. Sure looks good all freshly painted.

Nothing else new in our world -

Good morning all...

Fall is here for sure, very cold AM's but the days are warming up to the near 60's. So that's okay with me....

DH is heading up north to get some things done for his mother, and to pick up some french doors for the foyer. After the doors are up, he will be installing the wood floor. Almost done with this house!

It's my turn to have the family Christmas party. I was thinking that if he doesn't get the floors done by then, I will paint Caribbean scenes on the floors for the party. It will be a "Post-family cruise party/Christmas party" anyway, so I'm sure my family would love it!

A little Caribbean music, some pina coladas...and palm trees and beaches painted on the floors (and of course, a pirate ship!)

So many ideas...so little time...

I am up and awake slowly after I got home after midnoc from my shift..it's another 3-11PM tonight..and I am off tomorrow..:dance..

it's a brisk one here.. and DS Stephen's 21'st birthday..tonight.. he is out with his Dad for his *first legal official* beer..=twobeer. and a celebration ..

and tomorrow night I am pot roast, mashers, gravey, dinner rolls, green beans ,and cake for him.. AND Halloween for me at home for the first time in 3 years..that's what he requested for a meal.. and the rule in our house is the Birthday person gets their choice..:grin..

so yesterday I hit up Walmart and got the candy, and some things taken care of..

today is ironing, and Hoovering..and then head to work..

Morning girls. Been sending positive thoughts out for Meg and everyone else under the weather right now. Trying to coast for a while this morning as we really stuck to cleaning yesterday. We have so many nooks and corners which haven't been cleaned good for several years. Would sure be nice to have a really clean house again. Best part if feeling up to moving and doing the work able to breath.

Good Morning all. Not much going on here. Should be nice in the 70's today. I work 5p to 1a now so am going to try to post every morning (mid morning by the time I get up LOL). Have been working on the house - new floors etc. Have the family room and dining room done. Need to do the living room and hall yet. Putting down hardwood floors and ceramic tile floors - helping son do it. Prayers out to Meg and hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning everyone. I've been missing because I had a land trip to Las Vegas, got home yesterday and I'm still tired. Guess I'm not as young as I used to be. Now, I really need a cruise.
