thanks to everyone's truthful comments i finally got him to break down and get in a tux for formal night.... never seen him in a tux, i am so excited i truly cant wait

Patty had never seen me in one either until I broke down several years ago. Now I always wear one and have never regretted it. I'll be sure to pack the 'good' camera so I can take pictures of all the stunning couples in our group. See you in 14 days!

No i called 2 weeks prior to sailing the cruisline gave me the number for www.cruiselineformal.com we went to a tux store and had him meaxured, he looked great... it saved us from having to pack another pair of shoes, and do dry cleaning. the shoes were 12.00 and the tux was 85.00 we only took 2 22" carryons with us, we still had overpacked :0 so it was nice to go away and have them worry about the clothes !!

I saw the pics you posted. You and your husband looked so very elegant. I'm sorry I didn't get to meet you two during the cruise. I guess Anne told you about the virus problem. Hopefully we'll get to cruise together again sometime.

If you're interested, there's a company in NC that sells formal wear that they have purchased from rental companies going out of business. I bought mine from them a couple years ago and I've got about the same money in it as a rental on the ship. They guarantee the quality so it's a pretty safe bet. Take a look at

There is a fabulous site on the web to purchase tuxes...my husband who is a tall/big got the most gorgeous elegant tux...we have 4 single daughters and they were warned he will wear it at their weddings...The site is ""www.Cheap Tuxes.com" it is all tailor sized to your specifications..and the quality was incredible!!!...Good luck and our best friends husband saw D.H.'s tux and he was so impressed he bought one for our joint cruise last Feb...They got elegant tuxes and will order different cumberbunds and ties sold very reasonably to change out for our next cruises to match our gowns!!!...Joanne
