Grand Cayman diving & sting ray city

I've always wanted to scuba dive in Grand Cayman because I've seen fabulous pictures of the coral and fish at it. But I also want to visit the sting rays the same day. If I choose the sting ray/snorkle excursion, would I be missing out on incredible underwater sea life not seen with snorkling? Isn't there a tour company that does both? Please help me to decide which I should do, scuba vs. sting ray/snorkle? Thanks, Suzanne

Check with an outfit called Diversdown.net they run trips to the real Stingray City (where it is 12 ft deep, not the sandbar). However, the diving is everything it is said to be and more. In 2 dives, I think I saw more fish (in number and species) than in any other place. Also spotted a few rays and had one curiuos turtle swim between myself, my dive buddy and the divemaster as we were ascending to the boat at the end of our dive. He swam with us and in between us for several mintues, less than an arms length away. To be honest, I would dive there again ans still skip Stingray City. My wife, an avid snorkler who refuses to dive, loved it.
