Grand Cayman, Ocho Rios and Cozumel

We are leaving in 17 days(yay!) to go to Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Ocho Rios and we're trying to make our final decisions of what to do while we are there. Obviously in Ocho Rios we're going to the falls so that one is pretty much set but I could use some ideas for the other two ports.

In Cozumel is it fairly safe to take a taxi to the beach?
Is it worth the time and money to do the excursion to the Mayan ruins in Tulum for those that are interested?

In Grand Cayman, does anyone know how much the Blue Iguana rehab tour is? I looked at their site but it doesn't give the cost for the tour. At least the one for the QE II park doesn't.

In Grand Cayman we would like to see Hell and the blue iguana rehab and go to the beach if possible, but there's not an excursion that has those 3 things combined, of course. Any opinions/information on how the taxis are there?

When we went to Nassau we took a taxi all over and it was great, but I like to try and get opinions before we do it in every different country we go to. I've heard people on here say to try and avoid them in Jamaica, so I was wondering how they were in Cozumel and Grand Cayman.

Thank you!

Cozumel! It is very safe to take a taxi to the beach, Last time I went it cost about $9:00 each way. The taxi will let you off in front of a hotel.
It cost a few dollars to have exess to the beach. I don`t remember how much it cost. there ie no shade on the beach. you have to rent an embrella if you want some shade . Its the 7 mile beach , very
beautiful beach

Grand Caymans! last time I went , i visited the turles farm, it was okay
some of the turles were very big. there is asmall tank where they let you
pick them up.
Going to Hell is a waste of time. there is nothing to see. A store to buy souviners and to get your postage stamp mark HELL. there is a little area in the back that is suppose to look like hell. waste of time

Go to Sting Ray City and swim with the RAYS. I love it!!
there is a small beach as soon as you get off the tender.

have a great cruise

Cozumel - Chakkanaab Park was very nice. Simulated ruins, snorkeling area, hammoks and more. We took our kids to see the ruins a few years back and glad we did, but they are ruins. Wife and I did a jeep tour and saw saltwater crocodiles, snorkeled, lunch and climbed to the top of a old lighthouse. We are planning on doing Punta Sur (crocofiles) and Chakkanaab with my inlaws in a few weeks.

Grand Cayman - We always rent a car from Avis. Stingray City great as is the new Turtle Farm. I think I saw where the Iguana Rehab Center is $6 pp. I was considering that until I saw that it was a 45 minute drive from Georgetown. We are taking my inlaws to see the Blowholes then to the Turtle Farm for the rest of the day on our upcoming cruise.

If you have any other questions on Grand Cayman let me know. Been there several times.

Enjoy your trip.
