Grand Cayman time zone

I'm confused. I've been told that Grand Cayman is on Eastern time, and when I check one of the Grand Cayman web sites that has a running clock it did appear to be on Eastern time. However when I signed up for a tour with Cpt. Bryan, the confirmation states they're on Mountain time. If that was true, then the boat would be in Grand Cayman from 5am-noon rather than 7am-2pm - which doesn't make much sense. Can anybody help?

I have been wrestling with the same questions. See threads on community and carnival boards. I am on the Paradise 4/4/4 after we turn clocks ahead, with stops in Belize, Roatan, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. The answers depend on three variables:

(1) What time zone is the island in ? (2) Do they observe daylight savings? (3) Does your ship ever change its clock?

O.k., I just heard from Cpt. Marvins that Grand Cayman is on Eastern Standard Time but they do not observe daylight savings. So, after April 4th they will be one hour behind ship time which I guess means the ship will be there from 6am-1pm.

Next question, if my tour ends at 12pm. Will I be able to make it back to the boat by 1pm?
