There's no dock at Grand Cayman... you will anchor off shore and tender in to George Town.

ABANKS Dive is good, free, and only two blocks from the cruise tender dock. There's dive and snorkel gear for rent. We just snorkeled there and saw tons of colorful fish. :)

Well, ABANKS isn't exactly free, just the snorkeling right there at the shop is. The site is Eden Rock. You can rent tanks, weights, all the rest of the gear and scuba there too, if you remember your C-card.

I went with neptunes divers I have no difficulty recommending them. They will accommodate a cruise divers schedule and they won't charge you if your ship can't tender passengers ashore.

I went with the ship dive and they used Don Fosters. Very well run and the staff is first rate. Our boat got a little crowded because they canceled the wall dive for the more experienced divers at the last minute and put another 10 people on our boat. It was not unsafe, just a bit tight .
