I just booked on the Diamond Princess leaving in two weeks. We were concerned about the number of kids on board because it was spring break. I was told that Princess is one of the few ships that limits the amount of children on board. I guess maybe they want to make sure that us old people are happy. Or, it could be that they want to have enough staff to accommodate the children's areas. P.S. I love children I have 5 and 5 grandchildren, I just like to go on a cruise to get away from them for a few days!
