We are going on the Grand Princess on October 17 to Canada/New England.
This will be our first cruise on and Princess ship. We have been on NCL, Carnival, Celebrity, and Crown.
Looking forward to this cruise.

We are booked on BB D734 in the back of the ship. If anyone has experience with these type of cabins in the back of the ship on the Grand let us know how it is. We have been on the back of the ship on Celebrity and it was great.

Does anyone know what the weather is like in Canada/New England that time of year?

We went to Canada several years ago on a cruise but it was in August. We usually go in August with our two daughters who are teachers. It is the best time for them to cruise. This will be our second cruise by ourselves in the fall. Last year we went in Sept. to the Caribbean. Packing for this trip will be different.

Hope to see some of you on the cruise

Although the weather in New England is completely impossible to predict... by October 17th you should expect it to be pretty cool from Boston on up. Normally it is a clear, sunny, crisp time of year with days in the 50's - 60's and nights into the 40's - 30's. But in accordance with my disclaimer up front... I've been here all my life and I've seen everything from snow to the 90's at that time of year, so prepare for everything. It's usually not rainy in mid-October... (again, the disclaimer...)
