Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay Itineraries

A few years ago Carnival offered a great itinerary out of Port Canaveral going to Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay and Nassau. I'm not that thrilled about Nassau but I loved HMC and GT. It seems that those itineraries are available out of Miami but has anyone heard anything about that coming back to Canaveral or Jacksonville? I prefer to drive rather than fly so Miami is a bit far for me living in North GA and I would love it if Carnival would offer that there again.

Thanks,

Haven't heard anything Canaveral or Jacksonville but they have begun offering those itineraries on an 8 day schedule out of New York.

Hmm, New York is even farther than Miami for me. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

It looks like Carnival recently started sailing out of Jacksonville again stopping at depending on which itinerary you choose...

Key West, Nassau, Freeport, or Half Moon Cay.

Unfortunately nothing new will be happening to Port Canaveral until the Carnival Dream homeports there next year.

Hey, Jason, please let me know what you loved so much about Half Moon Cay. We will be there in January, and are undecided as to what to do other than just beach.

Thanks!!

It's just a gorgeous place, wonderful snorkeling, fun excursions, there is a playground for the kids. This may sound obvious but it has a very Caribbean feel to it (eve though it is the Bahamas) I definitely felt like I was on a tropical island. Since there isn't really a town or anything it just makes the perfect beach day. I did notice that Carnival is offering an itinerary on the Fascination out of Jacksonville that will go there and Nassau, they seem to alternate between HMC and Key West. I am not that fond of Nassau and I wish they would offer HMC and Key West but that may not be practical.
