Granddaughter's heart surgery

Keith & Rita

3rd Officer
Our 11 year old granddaughter had her open heart surgery at The Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis last Friday. We spent a very stressful 3 days there, getting home late Sunday. She had a rough time of it and spent an extra day in ICU before being moved to her private room. It's all behind her now as she was released late yesterday and is now home! Her prognosis is excellent as she will be able to resume her active sports life. The hospital and staff was fantastic! It's a kids hospital and they treat them and their parents, and grandparents, like royalty.
It's so nice not worrying about this any more. We just may going dancing this weekend!:clap:
