Is the captain of the Grandeur still Sven Steinmoen? If not could you tell me what ship he is on.

Current captain of the Gr is Capt Rob Hempstead.dont know where the other captain is..............currently doesnt look like on any RCCL ship..

Captain Rob is the best captain we have had on any of our cruises. he is accessible, funny and just a joy. His noon time breifings are a great. Also, his captains talk is a really great way to meet him and learn about the ship. All of the captains should take a lead from him.

our trip on Graneur of the seas from july 22 was Captain Arnolf Remo. I believe he said it was his first voyage on this ship.

Captain Remo is indeed the current GR captain............Capt Hempstead went on holiday July 22nd...
