We sailed on the Grandeur (9-day Eastern Caribbean from Baltimore) in May and had a fabulous time. So much so, we've also booked her for a B2B Repositioning cruise on April 18, 2009 and the 14-day repositioning on Nov 19, 2009. We also had her booked a couple of yrs ago for the 9-day Canada/New England cruise out of Norfolk. She's a very nice small ship (We've sailed on all the mega ships but we prefer the smaller ships.) with outstanding friendly personnel. They treat you as if you were family.

We'll be much happier with the Grandeur if they add a Concierge Lounge soon.

We have her booked again October 2nd. Last year we took her out of Baltimore on the same 9 night New England/Canada cruise, but stayed on for another 5 nights to Bermuda. Wonderful weather both locations. However this year we are doing it a month later. It's so nice to be able to drive to the port instead of flying down to Florida or San Juan. The flight costs almost as much as the cruise.

You'll love the ship. Not the newest, but well kept and the crew is amazing. We did the Explorer when she first came out and that was just too big for my liking. Always standing in line by comparison, and when you hit port you've got double the people to contend with there also.
