I honeymooned in Grenada 5 years ago, and we had a wonderful time. You may still be looking for somewhere to stay...We stayed at two places that were very different from one another.
In the back of the island (not too long of a cab ride), we stayed at the Secret Harbour Resort. Very secluded - it has a large marina. The beach is pretty small, but I believe they'll shuttle you to Grand Anse beach on the other side of the island. Their website is:
http://www.caribbeanhighlights.com/secretharbour/. Their breakfast in the morning was outstanding! We had it on our terrace - it was wonderful. The rooms were like something out of a movie - fantastic.
For the other half of our honeymoon, we stayed at Mariposa Resort - we LOVED it. We stayed in one of their seaview rooms. Don't let the fact that it's not directly on a beach keep you away from this place. From it's perch on the cliff, you can walk the short walk to the beach on either side of the resort. Grand Anse is on one side, Morne Rouge is on the other (Morne Rouge is less crowded normally). The rooms were great - the staff was fantastic - they truly appreciated having us there. I would highly, highly recommend this place.
