Planning on taking snorkeling gear for adults but will have 9 year old with us. Are you able to snorkel from shore - if so from where would be the best or should be count on taking a trip with someone local.
I've tried snorkeling from shore with just my husband and myself. My husband ventured out too far and it was all he could do to paddle back in to shore due to the undercurrent. I suggest you go with a group for safety.
