Group Dining on Ecstasy

Greetings everyone! We leave on our "girls cruise" in 12 days and are soooo looking forward to it. Everyone in our group requested "late dining" and all of our reservations are cross-referenced even though we didn't book on the same day and, didn't book as a group (we started out as 4 girls and grew!).
My question is this: Can we all be seated together at dinner? Does the Ecstasy have tables for large groups? We are going to have so much fun, I'm just worried that the group will be split when it comes to dinner time.
Looking forward to your responses!

I don't think they have tables for 12, if I remember we had to sit at two tables next to each other an we swapped tables each evening.

Sounds like you're going to have a great time.

You didn't mention how many are in your group. The largest table is usually for 10 people. Because your bookings are cross referenced, the dining coordinator will automatically seat you at the same table. That's the main reason for cross referencing. If you have more than 10, they will seat you at tables next to each other.

Have fun on your cruise!

group dining on Ecstacy

Please do yourselves a favor when you get on board the ship. Even though all of your resv. were cross referenced, Carnival can only try to accomodate all of you at the same or ajoining tables. Gather all the booking #'s, cabin assignments, and names, and go to see the dining room Matre'D, ASAP after getting on board the ship.
You can check with the Pursers Office right on the same deck you walked on to the ship, and they can tell you when and where he will be available to make dining assignment changes and alterations.
You don't all have to go, but select someone to get the dining assignments arranged the way you want them. Have all the above info with you, and he/she will make the best seating and dining time arrangements available.
I have done this many times and I have always been satisfied with the change.
I have cruised Carnival 15+ times, and I enjoyed Ecstacy a couple of times in the past.
Enjoy your cruise, and don't be afraid to ask for things that might not be just right. Nothing in the world is perfect, but the Carnival staff will do their best to help in any way they can.
Hope this helps.

Thank you for the excellent advice! I had planned to head straight to the dining room to check on our seating; having our names, booking & cabin numbers will definitely help. This will be my 4th time to sail w/CCL and my second time on the Ecstasy. I've always thought the Carnival staff was top notch considering the massive amt of passengers they have to deal with, I'm one of those, "who cares if there is a service bobble, I'm on a cruise!" type of passengers.

Thank you again for your help!
