Asheley's understanding is basically the same as mine for many cruise lines. Only book a guarantee if it really does not matter to you where your cabin will be and that you can be satisfied with the worst or least desireable cabin in the class that you paid for. If you book the lowest priced inside category, be prepared to have a cabin in the bow at the bottom of the ship. I like to know where my cabin is located, so don't do guarantees often.
