WEBSITE TRAVEL ADVISORY – 4/16, 1 PM

Numerous airports across northern Europe have closed due to ash in the atmosphere caused by the recent Iceland volcano eruptions of Eyjafjallajökull which began on April 14th.

Currently two Holland America ships are sailing in European waters, ms Eurodam and ms Prinsendam, both in the Mediterranean.

Due to expected flight delays, scheduled departure time for the upcoming Eurodam cruise, departing from Rome (Port of Civitavecchia) on Monday, April 19, has been changed to 10:00 pm local time. Cruise disembarkation and embarkation will take place as scheduled that day.

The Eurodam on April 19 is scheduled to sail on the published cruise itinerary with slight revisions to port arrival and departure times as needed.

Prinsendam itinerary schedule is unaffected at this time.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely. At Holland America Line, the safety and security of our guests and crew is our top priority.
Updated travel advisories will be posted at www.hollandamerica.com.
