Holland America Line Names Jason Grant Director, Information Technology

Seattle, WA, February 17, 2010 – Holland America Line has named Jason Grant as director, fleet information technology. Grant will report to Brent Davidson, vice president, information technology.

Grant will oversee all aspects of shipboard applications and technology. He also will be responsible for implementing a crew management system, system enhancements for the mariner loyalty program and outfitting the technology infrastructure for ms Nieuw Amsterdam, Holland America Line’s new ship that will sail July 4, 2010.
“Jason brings a wealth of knowledge about the cruise industry and information technology,†said Brent Davidson, vice president, information technology. “We look forward to his success in this role and welcome him to the team.â€
Grant joins Holland America Line from Lindblad Expeditions, where he served as director, information technology. During his ten-year career at Lindblad, Grant managed technology innovation for the expedition line’s fleet, enhancing ship operations and guest experience. Prior to his tenure as director, he incorporated fleetwide computer systems and provided oversight of fleetwide administration as network manager.
Grant volunteers his time as a coach for local youth sports and mentors kids in the community. A Pacific Northwest native for 25 years, Grant lives in Puyallup with his family.
Virtual Edge Recruiting System

Virtual Edge improves accessibility to hiring information and overall efficiency for users.
