Hal & westerdam

Hi there, our first cruise on HAL and Westerdam next year, 15 days inthe Caribbean. I will be getting off Star Princess in Fort Lauderdale after a 30 day cruise from Valparaiso, Chile, one night ashore then onto Westerdam.

How does HAL/Westerdam compare to Princess/Star Princess? What differences will I find?

I have sailed on the Westerdam several times -- love the ship. She just went through a dry dock and is all spruced up.

Sorry I can not make any comparisons as we have not sailed on any Princess ship in quite a few years.

We sailed Westerdam last November and loved the ship. We had a great cruise.

Sorry......... We only sail HAL so no comparisons. Its' been years since we sailed Princess.

Thanks for the responses, yes we are looking forward to both ships, when you travel from Australia to the Americas, you gotta use that airfare, hence the 45 day double bubble on Star Princess and Westerdam.

I have cruise 2 times on the Westerdam.love it both times. we will not be sorry,have agreat cruise!!

I know what you mean -- air fare prices are really up. And where we live we don't have a direct flight to any place anymore -- so flying has become a big hassle as well.
