Shower heads are usually hand held type but there is a bracket for them if you do not want to hold them.  There is a pull down seat or you can wheel your wheelchair in to it.  On the newer ships there is a pull down bar for clothes.  There is hand rails around the shower and toilet.  The sink is cut so you can pull yourwheelchair up to it.  The floor was flat to get into room.  I did not have a balconey when I went.

This does not apply to older ships.  Most older ships do have lips in some areas.  The crew will help in some areas.
