Happy Hour?

Anyone who has sailed Princess recently know if they are still having the daily happy hour. I think they call it the "power hour". Had this daily on the Sea Princess about 1 1/2 years ago and we enjoyed it.

what there *IS on the ships* if you are Platinum/Elite in the last 2 years of sailings we've been on.. is a drink for 2.99 each "drink of the day PLUS fancy snacks" in the Skywalker's lounge or equivalent..it's from 5p-7p.and if you belong to this class of Captain's Circle it's invited to you the first day of the cruise.( in your welcome aboard stuff in your mailbox next to your stateroom door...and it's AWESOME!!!..good luck...:)..Joanne

That was kinda my question. When we sailed last year on the Sea Princess, all bars served certain specified drinks after 8 PM for 2.99. They called it the Power Hour. I don't remember which drinks were included, but I specifically recall that the Long Island Iced Tea was on of them. I'm hoping that they are still doing this.

Thanks Mary Ann. That is what I was referring to. Hmm, seems they have raised the price, however, lol.

I was looking for this too. Seems like the price has gone up some since last February, But ain;t bad.. If I remember correctly Some beer was included! We'll be drinking a lot from 8 pm on.. Starting Thursday night.

To answer my own question again, the Crown Princess did not offer the happy hour on our cruise in November. If you are Platinum or above, a reduced price cocktail hour was held each evening around 5:30 PM.
