It is freezing here today. Right now 10 F and won't go above 31 today. Brrrrrrr. To think I had the windows open on Monday and it was in the 70's. Yikes the heat ran constantly all night.
Everyone should be pushing that turkey into the oven by now. Before long the house will smell wonderful with all the different foods cooking.
We have reservations to eat out. While I enjoy the whole Thanksgiving cooking thing it really is quite a bit to do for just 2 people. I've done it a few times and Mike just prefers that I relax and we go out. So we have a 2:30 reservation.
Kaya had a wonderful birthday yesterday he turned 4. He is so exited now about Christmas and grammy coming. Audra puts a real tree up and he was already asking for a Christmas Tree. So Audra bought him a small tree for the hall upstairs. She is using it like an Advent Calendar. Each day he will add an ornament to count down to Christmas. They were supposed to set it up today but as I was talking to her at 10:30 eastern last night he came downstairs and stood behind her as she was doing Thanksgiving prep, she turned around and he scared the daylights out of Audra and when she screamed he jumped and screamed. :lol He said Mommy I can't sleep can we put up the Christmas tree. So that is what they did. :lol That one is too much.
