Been on it before but not since her remodel a few years back. Liked her then so I'm guessing she's great now.

EN is a great ship. We've been on her 4 times and are going again later this month. My favorite spot is the Schooner Bar and the CL. Also love grabbing a late night snack in the Solarium.

Why would you go on the same ship 4x? Is it that great an experience to live it over and over again?

Oh heck......I have been on the Sovereign 17 times.........if it aint broke, why fix it?
Braggart! LOL We were only on the Sovereign 9 times!!

Geezer - You ask why you would go on the same ship over and over. Have you never vacationed or gone somewhere more than once? It's the same thing. The ship becomes your vacation destination. Living in Florida, we're fortunate to have all the ports within a couple of hours drive. If we're looking for a quick getaway (3 or 4 days), we look for the most reasonable price. It can and usually is cheaper to do a repeat cruise on a familiar ship than to spend the same amount of time in Daytona Beach, Savannah, Mytle Beach, etc. By the time you add in food and entertainment on a land based trip, it comes out to be way more expensive than a cruise. I hope that answers your question.
By the way, CL stands for Concierge Lounge. It's a private lounge for suite guests and diamond plus Crown & Anchor members. Not all ships have one though.

Enchantment of the Seas

Although we have been on most other Royal ships, our first experience with the Enchantment was just this past August. This ship has the largest pool area we have seen, including two pool bars (although one is in the open sun all the time which makes it a little uncomfortable). All in all it was a great ship with an outstanding crew. We still prefer the Radiance Class personally.

If you take me serious, it's your problem
I sailed the EOTS in july. I would reccomend this ship to anyone cruising RCCL. The service was impeccable, the food very good be it in the MDR, or anywhere on the ship. It has been refurbished and is in great shape. The EOTS has plenty of things to do while onboard. The itineraries are pretty good as well... a good mix of port days and sea days.

It is easy to understand why someone would sail this ship multiple times. I mean for the money, the service is so good that it alone can be a draw for people choosing a ship or cruise line. When you consider the whole package RCCL seems to have the service end down cold.. and from the reviews i've seen, and the ratings this ship receives, the EOTS has consistently received a high rating. Even against their sisterships they seem to get high ratings for service and overall experience..

We just got off the Enchantment yesterday...and she is just as lovely as the first time we sailed her... we even had the carpet replaced in our cabin yesterday so they are constantly working on keeping her fresh & lovely..

Enjoyed the Solarium pool.. and dinner in the Windjammer in the evening.. we had the best waiter..he'd even have 2 tables "saved" for us right by the window...

Have been on the Enchantment at least 6 times. Going again in Nov, 09. (Have been on many of RCCL ships multiple times)

We like to cruise. Enjoy repositioning cruise....The Enchantment leaves for Panama where it will be stationed for the winter.

If you question why someone goes on a ship several times, you probably haven't done much cruising. There are different itineraries for each ship. If you live in Florida, it is much easier to go to the Caribbean and through the Panama Canal in the winter, therefore you will probably hit the same ship several times. We go on 9-11 cruises a year, and in the summer hit the Alaskan, Baltic, Mediterranean, and transatlantic cruises. Also there are all kinds of activities going on each day that are fun

The Enchantment is a great ship on which to do your first cruise. It is both small enough to easily become familiar with the various decks and large enough to have lots of activities...both for adults and childre.

My very first cruise was on the Enchantment of the Seas and I loved it.
I thought it was a beautiful ship! I think a nice extra feature is the Solarium pool.

We were back on Enchantment the end of last month and had the dubious distinction of being onboard when the Carnival Legend hit Enchantment as the Legend was pulling out of Cozumel. While the damage was minimal, how the crew handled things reinforced why this is a great ship. The staff immediately swung into action and handled everything in a very professional manner. We were very impressed.

We are so going to miss Enchantment when she leaves Port Everglades for good.

And I was holding my breath hoping my cruise wouldn't be cancelled or delayed after the "accident"...they were already hammering & grinding & whatever they needed to do to fix the bump as we were boarding around 11:30... as we came in from Grand Caymen on the tender you couldn't tell there had ever been anything wrong with her..
