Hi all - we will be on the Norwegian Star to the Mexican Riviera on April 30th. Was wondering if anyone has been on this ship and/or itinerary. Any info/recommendations would be helpful. Thanks!

I was on the Star last June for a cruise to AK. I was going to post a review here, but the review 'form' doesn't go back to last year.
The Star is a beautiful ship. Have you cruised before? Let me know what kind of info you are looking for and I'll be glad to fill you in. We were a group of 6 - including 2 teenagers who managed to find every nook and cranny on the ship!
The service was top notch, as was the food and most of the entertainment. I don't know if Shawn Farquhar is still on the Star, but if he is you are in for a treat. He has been on 2 ships we've been on and he's unbelievable. He is a 2 time world champion magician, but beyond that he is such a comedian.

I have been on the star too in Hawaii. BUT, I am going on it again next Friday Feb. 25th.
I plan to write a cruise review when I return on March 5, 05 when I return.

We were on the Star to Alaska last June and loved her and also the freestyle dinning it was fun to be able to pick where you wanted to eat. The staff was great and I would go on her again in a minute.,
