WOW ! they have a fantastic price!!! for the 15 day Hawaiian Trip on the Regal Princess. It is 700.00 less than other web sites posted price for 2 people. Has anyone used CruiseQuick on-line service? if so, were there prices honestly that much lower. Im sure many of you will redirect me to your travel agent or service , which i already have .
Just curious about this one!

CruiseQuick has a very good reputation in general. They do use a few borderline tricks like booking people as seniors who aren't actually seniors--but they do stand behind their prices and I believe they would make up the difference if you had any problems.

I won't direct you to "my travel agent" but I do have a site to suggest. CruiseCompete.com lets you enter one quote request, then get quotes from multiple, competing agencies. Let them know the price CruiseQuick gave you and see what they come up with in response--couldn't hurt.

Cheers!

Thanks i will give cruisecomplete.com a try. I guess it is too late this time, I'm already booked through Princess. I did check cruise.com and cruisesonly.com, both were right at Princess's pricing. I was told they had more competitive prices. I did not find any better deals till i found this web site! The linked sites and the one you mentioned are worth keeping in mind.
Thanks Again, Ron

Under Royal Caribbean, towards the bottom is a very long thread (33 entries) on cruisequick. There is also a shorter thread on cruisequick slighter higher in the list. You'll learn more than you ever wanted to about cruisequick. I booked through cruisequick our next cruise, Sam's Club is the only who came very close to match the price. I just requested a quote on buycruises.com, curious as to what they offer. I will give cruisecompete.com a try.

Kim's rates are pretty hard to beat. Did cruisecompete's price include port charges and taxes? Make sure you're comparing apples to apples!

Right now for our cruise, the mini-suites are cheaper than the reg. category BA cabins. Make sure you check a few categories too.

Thanks, triathlete, for the website. I've never heard of it and it sounds great! :thumb

I have two cruises currently booked through Cruise Quick. I am very happy with both their prices and service. My sister-in-law has used them also. They have replied very promptly to all of my requests.

I did a quote request and they were almost double what I paid for an AA for 5/22/04 on the Coral

What service...?

You do everything except making the booking. Internet is the ONLY way to get service. That's OK as long as there's no problems, and most of the time, there won't be. But we've also seen those unusual occasions when we had to call and talk to a TA because something went wrong at the last minute (caused by the cruise line, not the TA). It sure was worth it to have a person that could respond and take care of our need. And if you are in a situation where you don't have internet access... what are you going to do?

If it's worth the risk to you, and you know what you're doing, and you check you bookings carefully, then they are certainly a good option if price is pretty much your only concern.
