Has anyone did the Bahamas?

We have cruised before but this will be our first Bahamas Cruise!!!!

Is there any place that are a must to do, go or see?

Is there things you can find to do for free without having to buy the activities from the cruise ship?

We been to the Bahamas a couple of times. We just roam around town, go to the straw market, take the water Taxi to the Atlantis to see the Aquarium and other sights. Then we finish the day off by having a few beers at Senior Frogs. Hope this helps

we have been to the Bahamas many times, there is alot to see. what are you looking for, there is the straw market and many souviners shop. The Atlantis resort is a good place to visit, very big, lots to see.
Beautiful beaches.

Do not get discourage, some folks do not visit the boards everyday, therefore, it may take a few days for replies

We've been to Nassau two times. You must go and visit the "Atlantis Hotel". We took the glass bottom boat tour around the harbor and then on to the Atlantis Hotel. You can tour the hotel and the Aquarium. Then we usually go to the "Straw Market" for some bargan shopping. Then after 11:00 am, Senior Frog opens...and you can have alot of fun there...and some shopping there as well.:cheer:

we went on the Sensation Aug 2008-- great trip
Snorkeled and took a highlight tour-- walked around and shopped

Atlantis has a great deal going on also -----

Several years ago when I was in Nassau with a group of friends, one of theother gals and I did the excursion to Aradstra Gardens and Zoo. It was a very enjoyable excursion. The trained, performing flamingos were amazing and put on a very enjoyable show. I'd go back in a heartbeat!

Agreed on the atlantis ( from my experience better chance of winning than on the ship) be careful though some of the things like the aquarium that used to be free to look around are now to the point where you have to pay.
