Have I forgot anything??

Last question of the day....

I have booked our excursions, printed off our set sail passes registered with RRCL on line. Is there anything else I have forgot to do?

The Pop package for the kids- is that done on the ship?
I can't seem to find it on line with RRCL

Thoughts and comments would be helpful!

The drink package is done on the ship. When you get on the ship, head to the nearest bar and you can purchase drink package there.

Stop the paper. Have someone get the mail. Make sure your passports are current. Have some plastic bags for your liquids (after shave etc) for the airport. We always put a bit of colorful ribbon on our suitcases so we can find them at the airport.

You will love it, relax, enjoy. Cruising is a virus and you are about to be infected.

Well that is the kind of virus I would like to be infected with!

Yes our passports are up-to date and I thought of bringing plastic ziplock bags.

If you have a balcony throw in a couple clothes clips--your stuff will dry in an hour out there but clip it to the deck chair or it might blow away!

Bring more sunscreen along than you planned for.

Take some of your clothes out, nobody cares if you wear the same outfits of dinner, least of all you!

I carry a photo-copy of my passport ID page so if it gets lost or stolen I have a record of the numbers and that it exists.

Have some singles and fives--tip the porters who take your luggage at the pier, tip room service, tip for extras, and the extras will keep coming.

In addition to the clothes clips to dry your clothes with....I was afraid my stuff would blow away so I brought really big suction cups w/hooks on them and put then on the inside of the sliding door(if you have one) and they dried in a short time...I agree with taking things out of your suitcase...I always over pack but as each cruise passes, Im learning to pack less. You can always wear the same pants/capris/skirts more than once, just change tops for a different look. And yes, they have the soda pkg table and Adventure Ocean sign up as soon as you board. Have a great time!!!!

LOVE the snaphooks on the sliding door!

Also, this may seem self explanatory, but you would be surprised the number of people who don't think about it: Lay empty hangers in your closet on the floor of the closet. If the ship rocks at all they will clatter against each other and you don't want to have to get up and do this in the middle of the night.

We also see people with those really pliable over the door shoe bags with toiletries, flip flops, camera, etc. I haven't done this but know several who do and with four of us in the cabin we could be using some extra organization.

I have read in the reviews about the "over the door" shoe racks for storage. I have been to several stores and cannot seem to find any. I will keep looking.....

Thanks,

My daughter just got one at Walmart for her tiny apartment. She saw one at Target that was more expensive and crackle-y~

I always have a small empty duffle bag in my suit case because then I have something to carry my treasures home in.

Oh and never leave home without duct tape! I always see someone with a busted suitcase and it always comes in handy.
