Of course God is at the top of my list as I would not even exist. Lately, having had an operation and still recouperating, with another one to follow in a few days, I have been very thankful for my husband. He has been my hero. Taking care of all my needs, and not only doing his daily chores, but mine also. My true friends, who call me, send dishes over, so we don't have to cook, and get well cards are such an uplift. My kids, who have helped as much as they can, especially my married daughter, who never cooks Thanksgiving dinner, took it upon herself to make our holiday cheerful. She usually has to visit her 2 sets of in-laws.

Do you have things or people to be thankful for?

Thankful for God, of course, and my family, and my continued healing. Thankful that I am still here and that I'm feeling better. Thankful for my strong support groups. I have my in person friends and family, my virtual friends and family, and my prayer chains.

My strongest weapon in the battle has been my relationship with God and my prayer warriors.

Cricket, I always think of a lot of things for which to be grateful. I count blessings every night and says prayers of thanksgiving all the time. It's a habit I gained over the past year.

Happy Thanksgiving to all.

I'm thankful that I have God in my life who gives me the direction and strength I need to live my life. A family that is without question amazing and loving, and a man who is a bit of a nut but keeps me sane because of his love.

Because of a lot of things going on around me, I have thought about this more this year than in the past. I have SO much to be thankful for, I do not even know where to begin. A WONDERFUL husband, two beautiful boys, a place to call home, my health, good results to all sorts of medical situations this year, my extended family and friends....and of course God - the source of it all.

It is really humbling to look at the pain and hurt and suffering in the world around us, and realize just how truly blessed we are. A very wonderful Thanksgiving to all of you!

I'm thankful every single day for what I have, and what my family and friends have. Be it good health, jobs, a new baby. It is all good. And I never take anything for granted as I know it can all be wiped out in a flash. =hug

Hi,
I thank god ever day, ten years ago, i was laid off from my job after 25 yrs, since then it has been one job after another, let go after a temp job was finished, another job went bankrupt, another job that i had was laid off, as it didnt work out, last dec i found a job and guess what, i'm still there, in 2 weeks it'll be a year. Every day when i go in, i pray, let it be a quiet day and maybe the company will keep me. When leaving work, i think, thankyou lord for a wonderful day. Yesterday at work, they had a luncheon and i said, i'm thankful that i have a job here, and one guy laughed and somebody else said, we're glad you're here. So thankyou
