Yes, I try it out all the time, but there has NEVER been anyone on when I've tried! Where is everyone?

Cause someone has to get the party started, if there is to be one, especially with the buddy list.
Not everyone has time to chit chat but IMO it is a nice one on one feature to actually verbal/talk if someone has a speific question/concern etc.

The buddy list is just like an IM. Whoever has it opened their name will appear as being "online", able to chat(type), play games or talk. I dont know if we can have a multi person IM, like the chat room. But to talk/audio/verbal, one on one is the way it will work best.
